Mackenzie POV
Mackenzie had found Gabriella at the rooftop bar and had managed to calm her down before returning to the room.
She hadn’t managed to figure out why Gabriella was so upset but decided to leave it alone. She clearly didn’t want to talk about it and Makenzie didn’t want to upset her further and lose a potential important ally.
Reentering the room with Tony, Mackenzie’s cheeks were still flushed.
Noticing this, Christian stood up and made his way over to her. “Are you okay?” he asked, a worried look on his face. Mackenzie shared a glance with Antonio. “I’m fine.” She gave a small smile, feeling guilty about what she had just done.
She needed to stay focused, so she could figure out which one of her mates was a good pick. She wanted to avoid hurting them along the way.
