Mackenzie POV Mackenzie woke up to a pounding headache. She could hear groaning and whispers around her. What was going on? Where was she? She tried to open her eyes, but the light was too bright for her tired eyes, adding to her pounding head. “Montana?” Mackenzie called to her wolf inside her head. “I’m sleepy.” Her wolf yawned. Thank the goddess, her wolf was still there, which excluded the presence of wolfsbane in her system. As she moved, she felt something holding her down.
