Mackenzie POV
Mackenzie sat on her hospital bed waiting for Antonio to arrive. She felt nervous and excited. While she waited, she thought about everything she wanted to talk about.
As the door to Mackenzie’s hospital room opened, the feeling of fluttering butterflies burst to life inside of her belly as she laid eyes upon his handsome face.
“Tony.” She said, smiling.
“Mackenzie.” Tony greeted her with a sigh.
“Look,” he started, “I’m sorry I marked you, I know you’d rather be with Christian, so we can just reject each other again if you want, but you died, and it was the only way to save you.” Tony went on a rant.
