Antonio POV
Antonio had to hold back the urge to growl at Giovanni.
“Stop it.” He admonished his wolf, Apollo, “he’s just doing his job.”
“We hold mate.” Apollo huffed inside his mind.
“Alpha, maybe you should take her to bed,” Gio stated, still in full Gamma mode.
Giovanni handed Mackenzie over to Antonio. “No,” she whispered, almost unable to keep her eyes open, “Don’t touch me, I’m still mad at you.”
Antonio and Giovanni smiled at each other. She was so cute when she was angry.
Antonio made his way to Mackenzie’s suite, with a sleeping Mackenzie in his arms. As he laid her down in the bed, she turned around and giggled, already dreaming about something funny, or so it seemed.
