I was flabbergasted because of what Minerva had done to me. Julio rushed toward his mother, who seemed shocked that Minerva had laid her finger on me.
I didn't say anything when she attacked me again and slapped me on the cheek. It was painful to feel how my cheek burned. I touched the part of my cheek that she slapped and looked at her with confusion.
“Mom! What are you doing? King Bryan will find out that you hurt his woman!” Julio exclaimed. He dragged Minerva away from me.
However, Minerva didn't seem to have a plan to make me escape from her. She struggled with her son's grasp and gave Julio a death stare. Her son was speechless and didn't say anything after that.
