Ashley's Point of View
Hearing Minerva screaming made me slowly open my eyes. I felt Bryan moving out of my bed, and he slowly walked towards the door. I didn’t hear his footsteps and it made me feel that he was a dangerous man. I still recalled what Alpha Brandon had told me. He wanted me to avoid those creatures who didn’t have the sounds of their footsteps.
Well, why was I surprised because of what I had found out? He wouldn't be the Lycan King if he wasn't capable of being the heartless leader of the Lycans.
“What is it?” He coldly said when he opened the door. My hands gripped the sheets when my wounds ached. It seemed my healing ability was too slow.
“Your Majesty, your mother didn't like to get arrested. She wants to talk to you.”
