When I woke up, Arthur was with me. He was working on his laptop and has a stern look on his face.
"Hey Arthur, whats up", I asked him in a hoarse voice.
"Hey Keira, how r u now", he got up from his seat and came towards me.
"Give me some water please", I requested him. My throat was totally dried. I think it's due to medicines side effects.
He nodded and place a glass of water on my lips. I drank slowly slowly to bear the pain.
When I was satisfied with my thirst, I signaled him to remove the glass.
He put my head back on the pillow and placed the glass on the shelf.
He sat beside me on a stool and took my hand in his hands.
"You scared us last night you know", He said with a smile.
I looked at him and understood what he want to tell me.
