Chapter 5: Butt

Audrey's p.o.v :

I closed my eyes shut tight yet again as the bulky guy who was almost twice Damien's size swung at him yet again but Damien dodged the bulky guy.

Each time the guy swung at Damien my eyes would automatically shut on their own accord as if I was about to feel the blow.

Right. If I even got one of those punches I would die there and then. Even the thought makes me shudder.

It's been a while since Damien has been playing the defensive game with the guy.

The guy now swung his leg at Damien and this time he caught Damien right in the appendix making him fall at the right side of the rink.

I gasped. Oh my god, that must hurt so much. What if we have to rush him to the hospital due to a fracture or internal bruising or something what if he is paralyzed oh no what if what if -

T'ang T'ang T'ang!

My thoughts were cut short when the loud bell indicating that the fight was over was rung by the ring girl .I looked to see everyone cheering for Damien. He won. Great I missed the last minutes of the fight due to my zoning out .

"Hey, shorty c'mon" Rohan called me to follow him getting up from the front bleachers.

I got up and followed him like a lost puppy. Which I basically was all thanks to my dear brother Brandon, he left me all alone so silent treatment for him.

We entered into a place with shower stalls, lockers and some practice equipment such as punching bags. The room was grey with white lights not to mention the half-naked bulky, well-built guys.

I could feel the piercing stares of the inked men on my skull as I walked with Rohan who taking quick long strides.

Where has he brought me?

I relaxed a bit when the familiar face of Damien who was sitting on the bench with a towel came into view and we stopped in front of him.

"Are you okay? because that was a pretty bad blow that bulky man gave you" I asked worried for him.

"Yea... umm I am fine, nothing I can't handle" he said looking elsewhere, avoiding eye contact.

"Oh umm okay" I said nervously fiddling with my fingers.

"Damn it, stop making the air thick with awkwardness for no f*****g reason at all" Rohan groaned out irritated while Damien just rolled his eye at his comment.

"Hand me my truck's keys, gonna go look for her asshole brother and drop her home" Damien said as if I wasn't standing there and advanced his hand towards Rohan for the truck keys.

Hey! I am right here ya know!

"Hey!that's my brother you're talking about, now I know he is a big butt but he is my brother! So he is my butt... Oh no, wait that came out wrong he is not my butt, sheesh how can he be my butt he is too big to be my butt now I am not saying that I have a small butt, don't get me wrong but my butt is the ideal size like I am just so gorgeous..... Wait why am I even telling you about my butt, what I was saying was that I mean that he is a butt but-" I was cut short on my rambling by Damien.

"Stop it! You're rambling randomness again" Damien said exasperatedly.

"Oh I am probably not saying the word 'butt' for at least a year now, man how many times can a person even say butt in a day I am sure she just made a world record, "Rohan said shaking his head horrified.

"Sorreh" I said looking down and I am sure my cheeks are as red as flaming hot Cheetos are.

"C'mon now let's go" Damien said getting up with his truck keys and ushering me to walk with which I complied and started walking ahead of them.

It's better than getting left behind due to short legs.

"That is a very impressive butt though" I heard Rohan throwing the compliment making me flush even harder although this compliment was followed by a hard smack on the back of Rohan's head by Damien.

"There he is!" Audrey exclaimed out happily advancing towards her brother who was leaning against a wall with his friends surrounding him.

After half an hour of looking for Audrey's brother in the whole underground area just because she didn't wanna leave her brother behind and go home, Damien was just about done with the two siblings mostly her asshole of a brother.

So mature to leave your sister alone in an underground fight club.

Damien honestly thought that Brandon did not deserve a sister like Audrey cause even though he left her alone in the crowd she still didn't comply on leaving him behind. She was too gullible and caring and truth be told, no one deserves her she's just too good.

Now that they had finally found Brandon, Damien took long strides towards where Audrey went and gave hard looks to Brandon's friends. Brandon didn't notice Audrey's presence there yet until she squeezed her way through the men towards him making Damien step more closer.

"Oh heeeyyyyyy Rey , didn't know you were hereeee" Damien heard Brandon say slurring over his words.

Great. The asshole's drunk.

"What are you talking about? Remember you brought me here with and then ever so rudely left me?" Audrey said confused on her brother's behavior, pouting at the end.

Damien shook his head on the girl's naivety.

"He is drunk Audrey" Damien stated flatly and Audrey's mouth formed an 'o' shape as realization dawned upon her.

"Yep. Drunk." Brandon said and out of the blue leaned all his weight on Audrey causing her balance to knock off but before any of them could hit the ground, Audrey felt the weight being lifted off of her which made her able to regain her balance and steady herself.

Damien had pulled Brandon right off of Audrey, swinging one of his arms around his shoulder and supporting his weight.

Jesus how many have this guy had!?

Damien had a strong urge to drop him there but resisted it for Audrey's sake.

"C'mon lets head out to the truck" Damien said dragging Brandon with him who basically had all his weight on Damien.

"Walk forward Audrey, I need to keep you in sight, don't wanna lose you out here" Damien grunted out and Audrey complied taking quick strides and walking in front of Damien.

When they reached the expensive Toyota Tacoma truck that belonged to Damien, he buckled Danny in the backseat with Rohan who was still sulking for the ring girl and came back to the driver's seat with Audrey in front beside him.

The ride to Desmond's house was silent except the occasional guiding of Siri from the GPS and Brandon's nonsense slurring.

"Yep that one" Audrey pointed out as the familiar marron colored roof and cream-colored walls of her house came into view and Damien turned his truck into the driveway, stopping it there and before he could even knock none other than the beautiful, tall and headstrong Bianca came out with her hands crossed over her chest with a scowl on her face.

At that moment Damien knew there was gonna be some drama and he was so not in the mood of it after such a long night.

"What the hell, where have you been Brandon with Audrey? It's freaking two in the morning!" Bianca directed her anger towards the intoxicated Brandon who was starting to sway.

"Aw f**k no! You're f*****g drunk, are you... Are you kidding me, he's f*****g drunk! Oh, he's so getting it in the morning" Bianca seethed out, looking stressed.

"I was gonna call the f*****g police" Bianca said running a hand through her hair.

" I am sorry B" Audrey said stepping out from behind Damien and walking forward towards Bianca but Damien held her wrist, not wanting Bianca to lash out on her as well.

"You could've told me where you guys were going Audrey and where the hell even were you guys?" Bianca asked in an exasperated voice.

It was really rare for Bianca to lash out like this, yes she was strict and she was a mother figure with those natural qualities of leadership but lashing out was not really Bianca and this got Audrey really scared that she could not even answer Bianca.

"Brandon brought her to the underground fight and then one thing led to another which resulted in me and Rohan dropping them here" Damien answered for Audrey.

"Oh wow just wow," Bianca said in disbelief.

"You guys should really just go in and sleep right now, it's really late, you can solve this in morning" Damien said.

"You know what yea you're right thank you so much for dropping them, come on Audrey" Bianca thanked the guys and ushered Audrey to go inside the house while dragged in a very intoxicated Brandon.

Audrey turned around and out of the blue hugged Damien catching him off guard, making his breath hitch but he closed his arms around her waist with uncertainty returning the hug.

"Thank you so much" Audrey muttered out and quickly ran into the house.

Damien couldn't believe that the short strawberry blonde girl just hugged him and what was more unbelievable was the fact that he returned the hug. Yet surprising himself again around her.

Damien just groaned.
