With a jerk, Saya opened her eyes. She took few deep breaths and laid at her place wondering what happened with her.
The memories poured in her brain of the incident. She fell from the cliff and was cut deeply by the sharp stones down but now, she did not feel any kind of pain.
She slowly traced her body with her hands and found wrapped in many bandages. Her wounds did not hurt anymore and were already healing.
The door of the room opened and an unknown woman entered inside. She was holding a tray and reached near her.
"You woke up."
She smiled as she helped Saya to say up.
"Where am I?"
"Do not worry. You are safe here."
"But..I ...I was .."
"Don't put strain on yourself right now. You need to rest properly. I am a healer and this is my house. I will ask your maid to come inside later but first I need to check your wounds."
She slowly and gently start removing Saya's bandages while Saya had a lot of questions in her mind. She wanted to ask but stayed quiet until the healer was done. She patted her head and got up.
"I will send you some nutritious food."
"But.."
"You were not wounded badly but you hit your head hard on a rock. Due to which you were in a coma from last fifteen days."
The healer left the room while Saya checked herself again. The wounds healed already and there were just few scars.
Soon Mary enter the room. She nearly cried seeing the princess and sat beside her. After sometime, Saya asked her about what happened and it resulted her remember everything.
When they were attacked, Prince Sebastian was near their location. He was able to arrive at time but could not save Saya.
He went all the way down to find her and bring her back. They found a healer in a nearby village and now Saya was being treated here.
Before losing consciousness, Saya saw a man arriving but thought he was the murderer. In reality, it was prince Sebastian who saved her later.
After eating food, Mary informed Saya that they will be leaving the next day. Saya knew that Princes Sebastian was in the same village but he did not come to meet her but instead the young Lycan, Felix was appointed with her.
The next day, the healer gave her some medicines and they started their journey again.
..........
"Princess Saya, the room on the left belongs to Prince Sebastian."
Mary informed Saya as she lead Saya to her room. Saya glanced at the door of the room that was opposite to hers.
"You can leave now Mary."
"But princess, if you need something..."
"You should take some rest too. Moreover, I don't need anything for now."
Saya told the older woman who bought d her goodnight and left the room. After changing her clothes, Saya laid on the bed and relaxed herself. The journey was quite uncomfortable for her and every muscle in her body was aching.
She did not know how much time passed when she felt someone entering the room. The person walked towards the bed and laid on it.
Few minutes passed, when two arms were wrapped around Saya's waist making her wake up. Startled, she turned her head to look at the person who at the same time opened his eyes feeling something wrong.
Both stared at each other for few seconds before Sebastian freed her and sat up with a jerk.
"What are you doing in my room?"
"Your room? This is my room."
Both said together as Saya sat up too. She stared at the man and scrunched her nose.
"Prince Sebastian, are you drunk?"
"This is the room on left, Your room is on the right." Sebastian rubbed the space between his eyebrows.
"This is the room on right. You are in the wrong room." Saya spoke in low tone still holding the quilt in front of her. Sebastian did some calculation and then looked around. This was not his room.
Now, he had two solutions. Either admit that he was wrong and go back to his room or still act stubborn and make Saya leave the room.
He looked up and glanced at Saya. Suddenly he smelled something sweet. He raised his hand and grab Saya's arm pulling her closer to him. He held her jaw and sniffed her neck. She was smelling sweet like lavender.
"Prince Sebastian..."
"Why do you have this scent? Humans aren't supposed to have a scent."
He inhaled deeply. The scent made his mouth watered. Saya froze at her place and did not move a bit as Sebastian's body completely covers her. He could not find the source of the scent. It seemed as if every inch of her body was covered in the scent.
Suddenly he pushed her on the bed and got over her making her wince in pain.
"Pr....prince.... Sebastian..."
Saya bit on her lip as she felt the rough touch on her body
"Please...stop."
She begged him and her eyes filled with tears. She could not understand what was going on but she was in no condition to bear what he will do to her.
Suddenly Sebastian stopped. His hands paused on Saya's waist. He lifted his head and looked at the princess whose eyes were filled with tears.
His cupped her face and stared at her for few seconds. He never liked the touch of a woman because of the curse. But right now, every touch felt like a true pleasure. He wanted to stop but knowing that this woman belonged to him, he could not do anything but want to taste her more.
But he should not be feeling anything towards her. These feelings should only stay true for his mate.
Sebastian felt frustrated and quickly moved away from Saya. The next second, he left the room while Saya stared at the door from where Sebastian left few minutes earlier.
..............
"I should not get drunk again. What I was thinking last night?
She does not has any scent. She never had any scent but...."
Yifang paused as he ran his fingers through his hair frustratingly. He remembered the scent. The scemt of sweet lavender. It was on Saya's body.
"Ah, I am going crazy." He looked around and then at the room where Saya was staying. The mystery of the scent was still unsolved and this was making him more mad.
Of it was Saya's scent then why he never smelled it before.
He suddenly got up and walked towards the palace. He was going to talk to Saya about the incident that happened last night.
Inside the room, Saya rubbed the medicinal oil on herself and laid on the cozy chair while the sun rays fell on her through the window.
The healer told her to at least take an hour of sun bath in the morning to heal her wounds faster.
Sometime passed when she heard the door opening with a bang. Startled, she lifted her head and saw Sebastian walked towards her. She did not has enough time to pick the towel to cover herself when Sebastian already reached near her.
"You..,"
Sebastian paused and stared at her who was not fully naked but still the two pieces of clothes left nothing for Sebastian to imagine more.
For a second, Sebastian's brain went blank while Saya blinked slowly.
The next second, Sebastian turned back while Saya quickly held the towel and covered herself.
Sebastian put his hand on his eyes as if wanted to erase what he has just seen while Saya turned red with embarrassment.
"What the hell are you doing at this time?"
Sebastian turned towards her who could not look at him.
"I was just applying some medicine."
She had a point and it was Sebastian who entered the room without taking the permission or informing her about his arrival.
Sebastian exhaled deeply and then angrily walked out of the room while Saya was confused over why he came just now.
.......
Extra scene.
Sebastian: How can she stay half naked in the room? That's disgusting.
Saya: But it was my room.
Sebastian: Still you should wear proper clothes.
Saya: Before marriage, he used to sleep completely naked. After marriage, he still sleeps half naked. I never complained.
Sebastian: .....
