Holding Vini against his chest with one hand, Sian gently wiped the blood from her mouth with his other hand. Feeling the cold sensation, Vini opened her eyes with difficulty. She was breathing slowly and her face looked white as a paper.
"Hang in there. I won't let anything happen to you." Sian ensured her who again closed her eyes. Her insides were burning and her body was numb with pain.
"Where is that healer?" Sian glanced at Gilbert who was standing near him.
"He is on the way." He wanted to cry seeing his condition. Sian was not looking very different from Vini yet he was still holding her in his arms as if nothing happened to him. His sleeve was bloody and he vomited a lot of blood.
