Eve burst into Mr. Thompson’s office, her eyes red from holding back tears. She slammed the door behind her, causing him to jump as he looked up from his paperwork. Without giving him a chance to speak, she started sharing her frustrations.
“They kicked me out!” she sobbed, her voice shaky. “It’s just not fair. I worked harder than anyone else, and they just tossed me out like I didn’t matter! You have to help me, Mr. Thompson. They can’t just evict me like this!”
Mr. Thompson leaned back in his chair, his eyes focused on her. “Calm down, Eve,” he said gently. “Tell me exactly what happened.”
Eve wiped her eyes and took a deep, unsteady breath. “The judges said I didn’t qualify. Can you believe that? After all the hard work I’ve put in, they decided I wasn’t good enough! It’s so unfair!
