The school was very excited for the yearly games challenge between the houses.
There were four houses: Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. I was made the head of the Red House, and Eve was put in charge of the Blue House.
There were a lot of events going on outside, and the school felt full of life and excitement.
Even though Eve and I were meant to be competing in a friendly way, it turned into a fight.
It felt like more than just trophies and medals were on the line for us.
Eve had an advantage because she was secretly dating Mr. Thompson, the principal. She told him to make sure she won the whole competition.
"Mr. Thompson, you know what to do," Eve smiled slyly.
"Don't worry, Eve," he replied. "I'll take care of it."
