Chapter Eleven: We Found Her
Kayden POV:
After leading our little mate, the other pup whose name we knew now as Jacob and Rex, to the entrance of the backyard, me and Jayden went inside to change our clothes and meet up with dad at his office. He had mindlinkled us that he needed to talk to us back in the forest when we were about to question our little mate why she lied to us. The way she bit her lip and looked anywhere but at us was a dead giveaway that she was probably covering up for her friend and Rex. The thought of her lying to us on such a small thing didn't sit well with us; we knew she must've felt guilty after lying, but she shouldn't have done it in the first place. We wouldn't have said anything to her or Jacob; we would've talked to Rex privately about how it was dangerous
