Just Few More Moments

“ Oh look! The saviour is here!” Matt exclaimed dramatically with a scoff and marched forward to stand in front of Noah who remained unfazed. “ What ? Want to taste her together?” He asked and Felix wanted to punch him but fleur held him back.

Next thing Matt knew was a stinging pain on his face when his face was met with Noah’s fist. Felix smirked at that and Fleur gasped. Matt landed on the ground with a loud thud that made him hiss in pain. The other wolves who were watching the scene in front of them immediately rushed to help him but they were met with Noah’s stern gaze, telling them to stay out of it and so they did. They stepped away from the scene but decided to watch it nonetheless.

“ Shut the f*ck up Matt! “ Noah shouted, his chest falling up and down. Felix and Fleur took several step back when the overwhelming sour scent of Noah started suffocating them. The scent was dominating. “ Want me to tell head Alpha about your deed? He would be very delighted to know that one of the pack Alpha who is already mated trying to force himself on innocent Omegas.” Noah said with a raised brow as he took step forward, each step stern and gaze dark . He grabbed Matt by his collar and made him stand up. Matt wobbled a little, Noah was definitely more stronger than him and he should have known that before opening his mouth .“ This was the last time that you are around them. Next time I see you troubling any of the omegas I will make sure that to offer your head on platter in front of your mate and pups.” He warned and watched how horror painted its way over Matt’s face.

With that said, he threw him back on the ground before walking towards Felix and fleur who looked stunned by the scene in front of them. His gaze was still stern even when he stood in front of them.

“ Let’s go.” He said as he glanced at Felix and then back at Fleur who were too dumbfound to say anything and so they just nodded their head in agreement. They had never seen Noah in his dominating demeanor and so they were little taken aback.

Noah started walking in front of them and was ready to growl at anyone who would even try to look at the two omegas more than necessary. He often try to protect unmated omegas from those alphas and that was one of the many qualities to which Rosie fell in love.

Felix and Fleur are the only two omegas with whom he is close too except Rosie of course.

Felix had been like his own brother for him since childhood. Their mother are quite close to one another and it was obvious that the two kids would grow up together as a sibling and what was even more amusing was that Felix was mating Daniel who is the best friend of Noah.

Noah was not supportive of their relationship first because he thought that Felix was still a kid , which he was at that time but he eventually accepted after seeing how hard Daniel was trying to impress Felix.

As for fleur, he had known her after he started dating Rosie. Fleur was a hard shell to crack. She was shy and would barely talk to him if not extremely necessary. But after sometime of getting to know each other, they are now pretty close, so close that whenever Noah would try any new recipe , Fleur is the first one to taste it.

Noah has a hobby of cooking and it is looked down upon considering that he is a strongest Alpha of the pack with huge body and dominating personality. As per the pack , cooking is the duty of the omegas and betas only . Bit Noah had already broken the stereotype and would often cook food in the pack kitchen.

“ What were you two doing near the lake so late ?” Noah asked without even looking at them. He kept walking ahead, growling to Alphas sometimes. Felix glanced at Fleur who bite her lips and looked down. “ Fleur?” Noah called.

“ I’m sorry. I went to wash clothes near the lake.” Fleur answered, her lavender scent high in the air and anyone can tell that she was a little scared .

“ At this hour?” Noah asked and glanced at her over his shoulder. Fleur was looking down as she tried to not fall face first on the ground. She wanted to distract herself from the events that has happened today and so she just went to do the laundry not keeping the track of time.

“ I slept entire day and laundry was due since yesterday.” She pouted. Felix shot her a look of disapproval.

“ And it couldn’t wait till tomorrow?” Noah asked as he stopped and turned around to look at them. Fleur ducked her head even more but Felix was unfazed. “ You know that many Alphas are out at night and it is really not safe for omegas during this time.” He said with a raised brow.

“ Why don’t you tell those alphas to keep it in their pants? “ Felix said with a scoff. “ Why are always the omegas who are at the defeating end?” He asked.

“ I am trying to keep you safe. Not every Alpha is bad but definitely not every Alpha is good either, right?” Noah said with a sigh . “ And you know it.” He looked at Felix as he said that.

Felix looked irritated but he just nodded at that. That was how the wolves were. Omegas are supposed to be weak and good for nothing except breeding and taking care of their families. On the other hand, Alphas were everything, they are strong and are looked up to. Even if alphas have multiple affairs it is not frown upon but it an Omega is not a virgin before mating then they are considered as slut. The weird tradition made the Alpha’s narcissistic . Omegas are forced in the bed by the Alpha’s but it is still considered the Omega’s mistake, blaming them for alluring the Alphas with their sweet scent. In any sense it was considered that it was always the fault of the omega.

“ Just . . . Just don’t go somewhere this late. It’s not safe.” He said and started walking again, the two Omegas following him like a puppy.

“It wasn’t our mistake that the Alpha are always horny.” Felix whispered to Fleur who didn’t say anything. “ And yet it is always us who should be careful.”

“ Some Alphas are monsters and we should beware of the monsters.” Fleur whispered back. They were talking in whisper because they thought that Noah won’t hear them talking bad about his own kind, but he had a great hearing ability too but he decided to ignore it too because at the end he knew that they were right. He too hated the stupid hierarchy.

They walked barely for few minutes and they had already reached Felix’s house.

“ I’ll meet you tomorrow. Be up at the morning. If you won’t be awake in the morning by the time I come, I will kick you in the butt!” Felix shouted from his door and Fleur glared at him. This male Omega had no brain to mouth filter. She heard Noah chuckle beside her making her blush as she internally planned various way to kill Felix.

“ I’ll be up way before you will arrive. Now just go in already . I am tired of seeing your face.” She faked a whine and Felix scoffed before closing the door with a quick goodbye to both of them.

Fleur looked at Noah who was standing just in front of her.

“ Let’s go.” He said and instead of making fleur walk behind him, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her beside him. His touch didn’t lingered more than necessary.

They walked in silence for couple of moments before Noah said.

“ He is getting mated to Daniel.” He said casually but a smile kissed his face. Fleur smiled at that too. She was happy for them.

“ Yes. He wanted to tell me that and that is why he was there by the lake with me.” She said and thought that it was necessary to defend her friend in front of her soon-to-be brother-in-law.

“ I can tell that he is pretty excited regarding the mating.” Noah commented as he ignored her effort to defend her friend. There was nothing to defend exactly. It were the alphas who should be kept in the leash, especially Alphas like Matt.

“ He is.” Fleur confirmed. “ In fact, that is why he wanted me tomorrow morning. We are going to Sihyeon for fabric and then would get it tailored by Freya.” She said , feeling slightly excited that she is helping her friend for his important day.

“ That’s great.” Noah said and rubbed the back of his neck slightly, feeling nervous to ask. “ Has… “ He stopped.

“ What?” Fleur asked as she watched Noah grab the basket of clothes in his hand effortlessly. She smiled at that, feeling thankful for that.

“ Had Rosie stitched the dress?” He asked and Fleur can see the blush adoring this big Alpha’s cheek. It was cute to see him blush so much. All buff and strong yet blushing .

Mating dress are important for the wolves. They are made according to the taste of their future mates do that it would be more beautiful in their eyes.

“ Yes. Mom has already stitched it and that is the only information you would be getting from me , Noah or else Rosie would have my head on the platter.” She said and fake a glare at Noah who chuckled.

“ That is very ‘Rosie thing’ of her.” He commented , eyes crinkling at the mere name of his future mate’s. Fleur smiled too. She is so happy that they are finally getting married to one another. They are practically made for each other. Their love is out of this world. Their love kinda makes the world jealous.

Fleur looked forward from him and saw that they had already reached her house but that wasn’t something that caught her attention . It was Rosie who was standing by the door , holding the door frame while shyly glancing at Noah .

“ Look like she is still doing a very ‘ Rosie thing.’” She said , her tone teasing and nodded her head to the side of the cabin when Noah looked at her with confused face. He looked at the direction and his breath was hitched.

His Omega is utterly beautiful. Rosie is wearing a dark bottle green dress and her hair is tied up in a braid, showing off her neck and jawline. She is so , so beautiful that sometimes he doubts whether she is real or not.

“ You are not supposed to meet , mister” Fleur reminded both of them as she walked towards the door and stood beside Rosie who was smiling shyly at Noah. “ C’mon love birds , just three more days and the you could stare at one another for lifetime.” She added.

Rosie smiled at Noah before reaching to close the door.

“ Bye Alpha.” She said in a warm yet soothing voice .

“ Bye love.” Noah said, Rosie blushed and smiled brightly at him. Still closing the door she stared at Noah with heart in her eyes . Noah didn’t wanted her to close the door. He wanted to stare at her for few more seconds.

It was not the first time that they had said goodbye to each other but for some reason, Noah’s heart felt heavy as he kept watching the love of his life until the door was closed completely.
