Kiara took a sheet from the cupboard, and spread it on the bed beside Ansel, as Damien quickly did as he was told, and brought her a glass of water. Meanwhile Xavier returned with the herb Kiara had asked for. She took it from him, and pulled off the leaves, throwing away the rest of it on the floor.
"Open his mouth," she instructed.
Xavier stepped forward and did so, while she put the leaves into his mouth. Ansel was now looking extremely pale, as he shivered, unconscious. Kiara grabbed the glass of water from Damien's hand, and placed her free hand behind Ansel's head, helping him drink the water. She then pulled away, placing the empty glass on the side table.
Damien scanned Ansel's body, looking for any changes in his condition, but he looked the same.
