I was about to walk Grace home, and stay with her until she fell asleep. She was nervous about being alone, but didn't want her parents to be angry at her if she had me stay over.
She suddenly stopped, and asked me to wait for her where we were standing, and left towards where the adults in her family were still sitting.
Sterling and Sammi stopped and talked to me for a minute before returning to the dance floor to dance to their song. I can't deny that I wasn't a little jealous of their relationship. I wanted that so badly with Grace, and the day that our bond snapped in place couldn't come soon enough.
