UGH! Can I just retire already? This vampire is going to be the death of me if I don't.
Along with my brother-in-laws, we made our way to the barracks. I had an idea of how the vamp got onto the kingdom grounds, but I needed to verify for myself whether the warrior I recently demoted had officially left the pack or not.
I didn't banish him, but I also wasn't going to reinstate his position. He was angry and threatened to leave, and I didn't object to him doing so. He was slacking during his patrols, and he had been caught sleeping on duty more than a dozen times.
I had enough, and took action. You can only give someone so much slack on a rope before they eventually hang themselves with it. That is what Scott had done, and then got mad when there were consequences.
