There was a lot of commotion coming from Jameson and Grace's room. We were waiting for Addie to come in with the ultrasound machine, and speaking with Caleb and River.
They had come in to see how dad and Sammi were doing, and fill us in on what the patrols had found regarding the vampire. He had gotten away without a trace, but when he fled, he left behind a trail of burning grass behind.
He had definitely left the forest, and was no longer within the pack borders. Caleb seemed happy with that for now, but River wasn't so sure that it was a good thing.
