Alpha Rhys's POV
I woke up the next morning with a smile. Man do I have the best second chance mate. Carly was a gem and I will never ever forget her or stop loving her but there is just something special about Jade. I can't put my finger on what it is. She is absolutely strong. Watching her lead that trial last night was awe inspiring. I had never seen an Alpha command a room like that let alone a Luna.
I hurriedly got ready so that I could walk Jade to breakfast. We have team building exercises today so that we can meet some of the new Alphas and Lunas as well as continue our old alliances. It's just another excuse for me to be close to Jade and I can't wait.
