Dove fell down from stairs, she said she missed a step. I don't care about her at all, but the fact that Gabriel lifted her in his arms and ran to his room…was devastating.
It took me one day to realize…
Gabriel was changed.
The reason wasn't my absence, but Dove's closeness. She is eight years younger than him, no doubt her innocence made his old heart flutter.
My feet quietly stepped into Gabriel's room and stood at the door. The others also arrived, yet I was the only one behind.
