Jade's pov
I brought her into our mansion and guided her way to her room.
"You'll be staying here from now on."
My lips mumbled.
"Thank you!" She answered in her timid scared voice.
All of a sudden, Mother barged in and glared at Jennifer.
"Who is she?" Rage reflected in her eyes.
*Deep breath
"My mistress!" I didn't even hesitate.
"Have you gone mad?" Her words groaned.
"A mistress?"
"You were supposed to marry my friend's daughter!" She further shouted.
"Ask her if she's willing to accept me with a mistress."
"What?"
"Are you really my son?"
No woman in this world would accept a man living with his mistress.
"I want her out of this Mansion."

"Then I will leave, too!" My stubbornness argued back.
