Elias's pov
I was on my way to my room when Ruby suddenly interrupted with her vicious tone.
"Can we talk for a minute?" A smile glinted on her lips.
"What is it?" My brow twitched.
She came closer and made a serious face as if her eyes were trying to show guilt.
"I shouldn't have hurt Josie." Words came out of her mouth.
*Deep breath
"I ruined our relationship." Tears rolled down her eyes.
"Where are you pointing at?" My mind was full of doubts.
"Ask her to forgive me, she will definitely listen to you." That was her request.

"Why are you smiling?" Her eyes widened.
"Do you think I was born yesterday?"

"People like you are worse than snakes and even though Josie loves animals, a snake would be too much."
