Chapter 17 - Siofra's POV

645 Words
Yesterday went by so smoothly. I was amazed at how all three families got along. I was honestly scared that my parents wouldn’t accept that I have two mates. I was wrong. They accepted them both. However, my knuckle head of a brother is having a little more difficult time accepting them. I honestly don’t know why but I feel like he was being overprotective. Throughout dinner, everyone was engaged in some type of conversation. My mother and the queen were talking about the wedding. My father was talking to Kieran about who knows what. Weylyn was deep in conversation with his brothers. The king was talking to his beta and Declan. My guess is what Declan would do when he officially takes over as the royal beta when the kings beta steps down. I was in talking to Katherine and Korina. I am beyond blessed that I will have them as a future sister-in-law. I have grown very close to them this week. Like them, I was excited to go pick my dress the next day. I almost couldn’t sleep that night after dinner. My nerves were even worse when I woke up this morning. I quickly ate breakfast before we headed to the boutique. Once all of us women were in the limo, we all started talking. Each giving an opinion on what the dress and shoes should look like. After about a twenty minute ride, we finally arrived at our destination. The boutique is a cute little cottage in town. Flowers adorned the outside of the cottage. I few wedding dresses were shown in the window. As soon as we entered the small shop, I am in shock about what I am seeing. Inside the boutique is much larger than the outside. Wedding dresses hung up everywhere. The smell of strawberries filled the room. A consultant greeted us. “Who is the bride?” she asked.  I quickly answered. “I am.” “My name is Nicole. I will be your dress consultant for today. Please follow me,” she said as she started walking towards a small stage. Mirrors hung behind the small stage. “Is there a certain style your wanting?” Nicole asked. “No style… hmmm… Maybe lace,” I said. Nicole went to go get a few dresses. She came back with several. She ended up hanging them next to the dressing room. After what seemed like three hours, I finally found the dress. I stood on the small stage looking at my family. Tears are falling down their faces. “Beautiful…” my mother said so softly. My dress is an ballroom dress. The top is a sweet heart neckline in tulle and flowed out in tulle. The top had a lace overlay on top of the tulle. The lace overlay is shoulder length. The middle of the dress has a diamond belt. Nicole dresses me up in a tiara, veil, and high heels. At this point, I am even crying. The dress is the one. I got the dress and they packaged it up for me. I even got the veil and shoes. Once we were finished, we loaded up into the limo. It didn’t take long before we were all in conversation again. It took us another twenty minutes but seemed quicker to get back to the castle. We all got out of the vehicle. All of them including the driver headed inside. Some still talking to each other. My mom and queen took my dress and veil and went inside as well. I was left alone and decided to grab my high heels. Once I turned towards the entrance, I felt a sting in my neck. My hand instinctively went to touch my neck but before I could, darkness surrounded me.
