Camila's POV: Mark jumped in front of me, his body bristling, furs rising up. A deep growl came from him, and by the goddess it shook me to my very core. I heard the snap again, and this time I felt scared. Was it a person? Who was it? Had I actually been followed that day?! The bushes started to rustle. Mark's wolf entered a defensive pose, crouched low and ready to pounce at anytime. I peaked from behind him, wanting to see what it was. A little girl rushed out of the forest. She looked no older than ten, and she was holding a white rabbit close to her chest. The animal was struggling to escape, but she held on tight. To my shock, Mark jumped back. The girl paused, looked at me then looked at Mark. She dropped the rabbit and it scurried to safety. "Wow." She cooed, her eyes wide.
