Amelia's POV: The suspense was killing me. After Richard had showed up in my room, it was as if something had changed. I didn't know what, but I could feel a shift in the air. Conrad's visits became fewer in between. The food tasted better, but perhaps I was only imagining it. My days were still as boring as ever.
