TO KNOW
My eyes were already wandering around the hall as soon as we walked into the hall. I could see some of my friends from afar and they waved at me as soon as they saw me walk in with my parents. I was already itching to go to them but I knew that I still have to do the formalities before I go to my friends.
“Let’s just greet the hosts first and you can go to your friends afterward.” I heard mom say so my attention immediately turned to her. She must have seen me looking in the direction of my friends that’s why she said it. “But make sure to come back to our table before the program starts, okay?”
I beamed at my mother before nodding obediently. “Yes, mom.”
