A few more days passed and it was finally New Year’s eve. Just like we agreed on, I will be going with Basty to their family dinner tonight. I wasn’t really sure if it was okay to be with him tonight when I’m not a family member or even his girlfriend. I also didn’t know whether Ally was in a good relationship with his family. I was really clueless but it didn’t really matter anymore. They probably already know my condition so they won’t think weird of me if I act differently or what.
Basty would be dropping by the condo at 10 PM tonight then we’ll go to their mansion for the gathering. He didn’t tell me if there was a dress code or anything so I just decided to wear whatever I could find in Ally’s walk-in closet. I couldn’t find anything that suited my taste though.
