Chapter 5

~Tranquillity's POV~

**Flash back**

I’m at my locker waiting for Echo to arrive when out of the corner of my eye I see Griffin. I investigate the mirror that’s in my locker and start fixing my hair, I apply some lip gloss when I feel a hand on my shoulder. I slowly turn around with my long black hair flying behind me. I look up and meet Griffins gaze.

"Hey Griffin" I say innocently with a smile.

"Hey Tranquillity, you look amazing today." He says while looking me up and down.

"Oh, well thank you." I say as I start to blush.

"No problem. But I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me?" He asks with his cute little boy smile.

"Of course!" I say with a huge grin on my face.

He pulls me towards him and gives me a hug. He takes a small step back and stares into my eyes. I can't help but blush and look away.

"You have amazing eyes. I have never seen eyes so pure and blue." He tells me.

"Oh, well, um, thanks."

He looks down at my lips then to my eyes and back to my lips. is he going to kiss me? As if he read my mind, he moves his head closer to mine and kisses me. I lean into him and kiss him back. Its as if we are the only two people on the planet. He tastes like mint and this kiss is making my knee’s weak. I can’t believe we just started dating and I’m having my first kiss! Griffin has brown hair and sea green eyes. He has a chiseled face and a slight tan. Griffin is well built and is blemish free. All the girls like Griffin but luckily, he only has eyes for me. His lips are soft and perfect, and his gold chain rests perfectly on his chest. I'm just so happy I can call him mine!

"Hey Tran!!" Echo yells from a little way down the hall.

I pull myself away from Griffin. His eyes plead for another kiss, but I can’t just ignore my best friend. 'Sorry' I mouth. He looks down the hall and sees Echo. He sighs and wraps his arm around my waist.

"Hey Echo! What took you so long?" I ask.

"Didn't you get my text?"

"What text?" I ask as I look at my phone. "Are you sure you even hit the send button?"

"I swear I messaged you!" She then looked at her phone. "s**t, it didn't send! What the f**k?"

"Ha-ha told ya!" I say.

“Anyways we better get going to class before were late." Griffin says as he tugs on my waist and starts walking.

"Wait am I missing something? Are you two seriously a thing now?"

Before I have the chance to say anything Griffin speaks up. "Yeah we are."

"When did this happen?" Echo asks sounding a little upset.

"Not that long ago actually...” I say.

"Oh..."

"Well this is my stop. See ya Echo." I say. "Bye Griffin." I say as I give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Bye beautiful." He replies with his cute little boy smile that I honestly can’t get enough of.

"Bye Echo." Griffin says as he runs down the hall.

"Bye..." She says dryly. I know somethings obviously bugging her, but I quickly let it go as I walked into art class.
