Chapter 12 He stayed a full car’s length the station wagon so the other officer wouldn’t get suspicious. Though he didn’t think Grantland knew what he drove, he still didn’t want to tip the man off. But from the way he kept swerving to stay on the road, Will suspected Corey was doing his part to keep the man preoccupied.
