We were about 5 minutes away from the house and Kevin was sleeping on my lap while holding onto one of my arms. He needed comfort and I was going to be giving it to him until we reached Blade. I sighed before I turned my attention to Damien.
“Damien, when we get to the house put Xavier in the basement. Make sure he is locked up really good, and then I would like to talk to you one on one in my bedroom.” Damien looked at me through the back-view window and nodded. I sighed and turned my attention back to Kevin. I cannot believe Kevin went through so much before this and didn’t tell anyone. I could have helped him, and I would have made sure Xavier paid for what he did. I always put family above anyone that I am in a relationship with or even friends. Kevin is family to me
