-20 Years Later-
“MOM!” My 16-year-old daughter yelled before she entered my office. More liked stomped into my office. I just lifted my gaze up from my files to look at her. She stopped in front of my desk before she continued.
“Dad is being unreasonable! He won’t let me go on a date with this boy I really like. AND! Tommy and John threatened to beat him up at school as well. Help me.” She pleaded with me at the end of her little rant. I shook my head and looked back down at my papers.
“Listen, I know you want to go on this date so let me talk to your father and brothers, okay?” The last part of my sentence, I looked up at her. She smiled and nodded before she walked out.
I swear I was cursed with only having one girl, and she is the youngest at that. Derek is now 2
