“You ready to go, Shinji?” Hiko heaved the suitcase they were sharing into the waiting elevator.
Shinji grabbed his jacket off the hook and shouldered the messenger bag that would serve as his carry-on. “Yes. More ready than ever.” It had been three weeks since they’d left Hana in the airport.
