2 The First Meeting

Violet POV

When we reach the apartment and go inside, I am thrilled. It is a cute two bedroom and I love Tammy's taste. We are similar in what we like. This is awesome how much do you need a month. " If you can swing four hundred and half the utilities that would be great." I absolutely can I pull out my wallet and give her six hundred for the first month. "You don't have to pay ahead I could have waited." It's no problem I have the money and with the new job I'll be able to save more. "Do you want to tell me what you're running from or do you want to get to know me better before you do?" I smile at her perceptiveness I think I'll wait a while. "Fair enough why don't you go get a shower and change for work." "You're welcome to use my supplies until you get your own." Thank you so much you will never know how much I appreciate your kindness. "That's what friends do for each other." I head to the shower with my uniform in hand. I am not a conservative dresser but this outfit is very revealing. I am not skinny nor am I fat but I have curves and big boobs. I hope I don't fall out of this thing while I'm waiting tables. I come out of the bathroom and Tammy is dressed in jeans and a blouse. How come you aren't wearing the uniform? "Are you kidding me my brother would lose his mind if I wore that in front of the guys at the club besides, I'm a hostess not a waitress." I laugh because all super naturals know how protective wolves are of their mates and female family. We head out the door after I cover myself with a coat and we are back at the club in twenty minutes. When we walk in there is a handsome man that I can smell is wolf standing at the reception area. "Where the hell did you go?"

Tammy POV

Great my brother sent my babysitter again. I want to tell him to go to hell when he asks where I went but I don't. I was helping our new waitress. He turns to her and looks her up and down. A**hole she isn't a piece of meat so knock it off. "Watch how you talk to me I'm still the Beta even if you are the Kings sister." Do I look like I care maybe I'll tell him you're making the girls feel uncomfortable. "Alright I wasn't trying to she is just pretty and a vampire." No sh*t I turn to Violet. This is Jake Thomas the Beta of the Werewolf Kingdom. I can see the shock on her face when she hears me say that my brother is King. "Why would your brother own a club if he is a King?" He wants all the packs to have financial stability so he has business around each pack to give them revenue besides what the Alpha's contribute. "That's awesome he sounds like a great leader to your people." To me he is just an annoying big brother she laughs when I say that. Do you have any siblings? "No, I'm an only child." Jake leaves and I start to show Violet around and the different areas of the club. I am going to have her work the VIP room tonight so she can get used to serving a smaller crowd first.

Asher POV

I'm in my office reviewing the finances when one of the elder council members rings my phone. He greets me formally as he should but I know what our conversation is going to be. "King Asher have you given any more thought to taking a chosen mate." I have but I still haven't decided. "You need to have a Queen with you to help rule the Kingdom." "You have searched and not found your fated mate so you need to think about someone to choose." I will make that decision myself so don't attempt to pressure me. You have no power over me and can only offer guidance. I have listened to your point of view and I will make the final decision. "Of course, your majesty we just want what is best for you." Then let me rule my kingdom as I have done for the last six years. I hang up the phone and I want to shift they piss me off so much but I contain myself. I don't want a chosen mate I want my fated mate. As soon as I have the thought, I hear a knock on my door. The door opens and Luna Stephanie is walking in. She is the daughter of an Alpha from a nearby pack. She wants to be my mate even though I have told her no repeatedly. What can I help you with Stephanie? "Your majesty I wondered if you thought any more about my offer?" I think I have made it clear that I am not interested in making you, my Queen. "I will do anything to please you my King" she comes to kneel in front of me. Get off your knees I have no interest in using you. I can see the disappointment on her face and she stands. Please leave my office I have work to do. She rushes from the office and I will never understand someone willing to degrade themself for status.

I hate that I have to go to the club tonight to check on things. It is the least favorite of my businesses. I want to make sure Tammy isn't having any trouble with the patron's human or super natural. I'm sure my warriors who work as bouncers would inform me but I periodically show my face to ensure that everyone stays on their best behavior. I have never been a fan of clubs but it does make a lot of money for the packs. At six Jake shows up in his BMW to drive me. The minute I'm in the car he starts telling me about the hot new vampire waitress Tammy hired today. Seriously don't you ever stop about women. One day you're going to be sorry for all your screwing around you did. He laughs "you sound like an old man." Shut up and just drive. We arrive at the club and we head up to the VIP area. I invited a few of the neighboring pack Alpha's so I can kill two birds with one stone. I can discuss business with them and check on the club at the same time. When we arrive the Alpha's bare their necks at me and I sit down. A young girl comes in with my drink and bows before leaving. I know that's not who Jake was talking about she was a wolf. I can see out onto the club floor at people dancing and waitress waiting tables. I scan the entire club when I notice a waitress, I've never seen deliver drinks while a drunk grabs her a**. I link one of the bouncers to take care of it before I do. I watch as Johnny one of the top palace warriors grabs a hold of the drunk dragging him outside. That must be the waitress that Jake was talking about she is gorgeous. The thought of that drunk or Jake lusting over her pisses me off which is weird because I have never had that reaction to a woman before. I shake off the thought and turn back to business.

We start talking and I smell the most intoxicating scent of peaches and cream. Titan is growling in my head mate. I begin to look around but I don't see anyone new in the room. When the door to the VIP longue opens and the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen walks in I am about to lose my s**t with the way all the Alpha's are looking at her. She is curvy and has long blonde hair. She hardly has any makeup on and she doesn't need it. I stand and growl making them all cast their eyes down. She looks at me with shock at first and then she must realize we are fated. I wait for her to run after I growled but she stands staring me in my eyes. No living super natural or human can stare in my eyes but my mate. I walk over taking off my jacket and wrap it around her shoulders. You and I need to have a private conversation. Again, she surprises me by not cowering. "Fine let's go" I lead her to the private offices.

Violet POV

I head up with a round of drinks for the VIP room that Tammy assigned me to after being groped by a drunk on the floor. Thankfully that bouncer stepped in before I had to do it myself. When I walk inside, I feel like a piece of meat on display as all the male wolves eye f**k me. I am putting a drink down in front of one of them when I hear the loudest growl, I think I have ever heard. I look up and all the other wolves are looking down but the one standing who is looking straight at me. I look into his eyes I immediately know he is my fated beloved. He is the most handsome creature I have ever seen. He must be 6'3" and he is built like a tank. He has wavy black hair that has a stylish cut to it. His suit makes him look like a god. When he stalks toward me, I make sure I don't cower. If he wants to reject me because I'm a vampire I will accept it willingly and move on. I will beg no one for their love. When he wraps his coat around me and leads me to an office, I prepare myself for the worst.
