" I did not do it. Agatha! Agatha!" I struggled out of my hand cuffs in vain and each time I ended up hurting myself even more.
"Marcus I did not do it!" I said as I was locked in a cell.
"If I get out of here, you will pay for this,"I shouted in furry.
"We will definitely use that against you," Marcus come back and looked at me disapprovingly like I was the serial killer.
"f**k you all,"I shouted before resorting to sit and not waste my breath.
Why could I kill Mr Miller yet he saved me from the real devils hands, my mother. I really admired him but there was really something that was not connecting about their family and all their secrecy.

MARCUS MARKET'S POV
I could not believe Norah Stewart was capable of killing Mr.Miller and Miss.Bianca.
Her slender long face with her ponytail hair could make you trust her.
How could she be a first degree murder. She must have a darkness that overwhelms her goodness.
I never really go out for fresh air but after talking to her I think I needed to breath. Why could someone murder her parents like that leaving her to this cruel world half dead?
I really had to take my job seriously so that later in life I can help her avenge for those who killed her parents by seeing them behind bars.
YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS.
That was written clearly across the wall and she had shouted the same thing when she was locked up and my colleague Lyoid Leone had listened to this and was in the chambers of our boss Mr.Chamberland talking about this killing for sure.
Mr.Miller was a known person in Westside and every Tom d**k and Harry was talking about his killing and the chunk of meat found by the police officers.
"Mr.Market?" I heard Mr.Chamberland call my name and I followed him to his office upon the order .
Inside the office I found Diane Johnson my other colleague and Mr.Lyoid both waiting for Mr.Chamberland to give the order.
"You are off the hook Mr.Marcus, Diane and Lyiod please take over the investigation." Mr.Chamberland said.
"No!"I banged my fiat on his table and Diane and Lyoid looked at me with a puzzled face and I knew I needed to drop that behaviour just as Norah said.
"It is an order Marcus Market and if you are not comfortable then you can quit."He ordered after dismissing Diane and Lyoid.
"Am sorry sir,"I said and meant it.
"Last warning,"He said and gestured me to walk out.
"So, what now," I asked Lyoid after inviting him for coffee.
"The girl is guilty and she has to be charged to it and I will see to that."Lyoid said sternly.
"What if she is not the killer? Just think about it for one second." I told him.
"We all know the guilty ones. They keep asking the details of how we are faring on to solve the killing." Lyoid said.
"I know. I just think she is not capable of that." I told him.
"Think Straight Mr.Market, it seems this girl has messed with your mind. He distracted you for the partner she has been working with to kill Miss.Bianca. How comes since she come is when this has started befalling the Millers family? You do the math, meanwhile, let me go and interrogate her to ensure she gives me the name." He said and stormed off adjusting his coat.
I just wanted justice and something in me said that she was innocent. I have to go against Mr.Chamberland to get to know the real truth.
I started with his daughter, Agatha Miller. She had been released earlier to go take care of her mother at their family house.
I quickly jumped to my car and drove off.
Their house is a bit wierd with almosr a forest of cedar on their back yard.
I rang the doorbell and waited patiently.
Agatha come at the door step and seemed surprised that I was looking for them.
"Am sorry about your father,"I said this and wanted to walk in but she blocked me.
"It is my duty to carry out the investigation on the murder of your father,"I said.
"How many of you must come here and torture us thinking we are capable of killing the man of this house?" Agatha asked.
"Am sorry for the loss. I know how it feels ," I consoled her.
"You don't. If you did, you could ensure that Norah Stewart was in the deepest pits of hell right now.
"Why do you say that, was it not just yesterday that both of you were sisters?" I asked her and her pupil dilated.
"That was before I knew she killed my father." She said and started crying.
Even if I have six packs out of working out 2hrs In the morning and 2 hours in the evening, I could never stand a girl crying.
Before I knew it, I was hugging her tightly to feel safe and to know that I really cared for her. I couldn't resist smelling the olive oil freshly sprayedin her hair.
"Where is your mother?" I asked her after she seemed to feel better.
"At a prayer group," She said and ushered me in the house.
"Can I ask you about something and please promise me you will answer it honestly,"I asked her holding her soft hands.
"Yes Marcus." She said.
"What did the previous detective talk to you about?" I asked her.
"Nothing, really, they just asked me about how I knew Norah and also shared to me that some bacteria that killed dad was in the pockets of the denim skirt Norah worn." She said.
I was shocked but I did not want her to know so I chose to flow with the story.
"That girl is a real devil. Be careful." She said looking at me in the eye.
I noticed her blue contacts in her eyes and those pink glossy lips of hers. She was pretty scared and I knew I had to make her to trust me with every investigation to save Norah Stewart.
Why am I so into fighting for the freedom of this girl? I wondered. Clearly with the evidence presented she was a murderer but there was something in me just like a little demon that could not let me find calm in seeing her behind bars.
She continued staring my eyes as I did to her lips and before something could happen between us, my phone rang and this time it was Diane Johnson.

NORAH STEWART'S POV
I did not see Marcus for the past eight hours and this worried me.
Mrs.Miller had visited earlier to throw insults at me and concluded by saying I was a bad omen and if it were in her place, she would send me to hell to stay with my kind.
I heaved a sigh of relief as the cell was unlocked and I was taken back to the interrogation room, again.
Inside I found Marcus Market looking through some pictures disappointments all over his face.
"Hey, I haven't seen you for a long time." I told him and he shoved the pictures on my face.
"What are this?"I asked without looking at them.
"Damn it just look at them bitch."He said and I sighed.
On the picture was me and my mom a picture that was once framed in our living room.
The other was a picture of my sister Jossie after she had drowned.
"I was trying to prove your innocence but with this, I can't. "He said and before I could answer him he continued talking.
"Can you explain why the sachet of the bacteria that killed Mr.Miller was doing on your pocket?" He asked.
"I did not kill him."I said and started crying.
"You must trust me because I did not do it,"I insisted this time crying while chuckling.
"Everything is pinning you down and you better start looking for a good laywer."He said.
"I am innocent."I shouted as he walked outside.
The police officer come and returned me to my cell. I knew prison could be a home for me in a matter of one week.
I don't know how long I had been sleeping for long but then my cell was opened and this time it was not to go meet the judge but my path for freedom.
I really never saw it coming but I was grateful yet another time I had another chance in life.
"Mrs miller has been killed at the hospital bed when she went for checkup by being forced to inhale mustard gas which was poisonous." Mr. Marcus told me after a long silence.
"Okay, well may her soul rest in peace." I said.
"I have to go," I told him.
"Where to?" He asked.
"No where anywhere in hell as long as it is not anywhere near this place," I told him.
He seemed puzzled but I walked away calculating my steps and deep in thoughts like never before.
Things are getting nasty in Eastside because a serial killer was on the loose and he was targeting the perfect families in town.
Or was he targeting the people I met?
