KODA'S POV
We waited for Maddie to come back, and together we climbed back into bed.
I was dying to know what she'd dreamed about that had caused her so much stress, but I had to let it go, she wasn't ready to open up yet.
I pulled her close and snuggled back up against her back while she nestled against Jax who wound his fingers through hers and held her hand on his chest.
'We're here if you have another nightmare' Jax told her as he pulled her hand to his lips and kissed her gently.
'Thank you' She said softly, I could still feel her slightly shaking, and it killed me to know she was so distraught.
Holding her tighter, I closed my eyes and drifted back to sleep, I was having a wonderful dream when I felt something hit my arm and shake me slightly.
