Koda took my hand and led me out of their private elevator on the ground level.
He had been quiet as we rode down the tower, but he gently made patterns on my skin using his thumb and I felt at ease.
I enjoyed being in the small space with him, his scent filled the area, and it soothed me, I had been feeling very nervous about being seen with him in public.
What would people think when they saw us together, would they know we were mates, would they think I was good enough, would they wonder why I wasn't marked, would they wonder why I hadn't marked Koda.
I looked down at my feet nervously and tried not to have a panic attack, and just like that, my relaxed mood vanished.
