KODA'S POV
'Hey' Jaxson greeted me as he came into the kitchen later that evening
'Hi' I said glumly as my brother looked around the kitchen 'She's in bed'
'What?' He frowned as he pulled off his jacket and sat it over a chair 'Why, is she sick, why the hell didn't you let me know?'
'She isn't sick, she's upset'
'Why?' He asked and glared at me 'What did you do?'
'I didn't do anything!' I snapped angrily 'She.. we ran into grandmother'
'Oh' Jaxson said, he understood instantly how she was 'What happened?'
I explained about getting hit and how it had upset Maddie and Jaxson started to look concerned.
'Dam it' He groaned and crossed his arms 'Well she was bound to meet her eventually, we'll have to cheer her up'
'And do you have any idea how to do that because I'm at a loss' I adm
