My heart sank as Jaxson walked away surrounded by guards, but he at least didn't seem bothered, or perhaps it was just for my sake that he was looking so indifferent.
"Cole" Koda said to his Beta, who was staring after Jaxson "Please take Maddie to my office for me, I need to speak with my parents"
"Sure"
"Why can't I stay with you?" I asked nervously and gripped Koda's sleeve.
Cole was nice, but I didn't feel comfortable alone with him, and I was feeling very clingy after seeing Jaxson taken away, I wanted to be close to Koda now more than ever.
"I will be back with you in a few minutes" He told me and kissed my cheek "Please go"
I looked back at Troy, who was glaring at me with a malicious smile.
"I will see you soon pet" Alpha Troy linked me and I cringed again.
