There should be no reason for me to feel attracted to this girl, but she is getting inside my head. I don’t know if the reason behind this mate bond is something else, but I need to stop that thing from controlling me. Love makes people do crazy things and there is nothing special about finding a mate. I don’t believe in the moon goddess and neither I believe in her blessings. A mate is nothing more than a curse to me.
Why would I waste my time protecting someone else if that won’t benefit me? This world is not worthy of vicious people, but there is no one whom I could blindly trust. I am only playing along with her because she is not worthless. If Paxton tried to hide that girl's identity, then she is surely not your normal she-wolf.
