Petra was in front of the mirror, towel drying her hair. She was too focused on her reflection, so she didn't hear the door open. When she realized, her husband was standing behind her, making her jump, she let out a small cry of fright, and the towel that wrapped her body slipped, exposing her nakedness.
Petra froze, not knowing what to do.
Her husband looked at her in surprise. Petra bent down to pick up the towel quickly and wrap it around her body again.
— What a lovely way to welcome your husband. — Bryan says with amusement in his voice.
— You scared me. — says Petra, her cheeks flushed. — I thought you'd still be with Adam.
— If I remember correctly, you told me not to work, that I had to rest. — Bryan says, smiling sideways. — I'm glad I obeyed.
