Alexander POV

I awoke the next day with a splitting headache and something heavy on my arm. I look over and it’s Jennifer and she is naked with love bites covering her whole body. My eyes grew wide in shock and horror at the sight and what possibly went on with me and her last night. “For what there is nothing for us to talk about unless it is something pertaining to business” she said.

“Do what exactly, after that day it is strictly business from here on out you are a married man and I’m not about to be caught up in a scandal. Now, if there is nothing else I can help you with I’ll see you when you get back in a couple months” she said and hung up.

Zaria POV

I was enjoying my weekend relaxing, shopping and spending time with my friends before I started back at Alex’s company. I was sleeping on my couch when I heard a knock at my door, I didn’t get up to answer it due to me being tired. After a while they went away and I was able to go to sleep peacefully. I awoke to a missed call and message from Alex stating that he loves me and will call or message when he gets the chance. “For what there is nothing for us to talk about unless it is something pertaining to business” I told him.

“Do what exactly, after that day it is strictly business from here on out you are a married man and I’m not about to be caught up in a scandal. Now, if there is nothing else, I can help you with I’ll see you when you get back in a couple months” I said and hung up.

My mind was so jumbled I didn’t know what to do. I knew for sure that I didn’t want him to pester me to death before or after he returned trying to explain himself. After I ate my delicious food, I walked around the building and admired the city’s skyline until my break was over. I went back and was busy for the remainder of the day. At that moment I seriously didn’t know what to do. I was pregnant by a married man, and was going to go through this whole ordeal by myself if I decided to keep it. I sat back down to eat and thought about what to do with my life and this baby that was growing inside of me. I came up with a conclusion, I was going to keep the baby and not talk to Alex the whole time he was away unless it was about his business. I was also going to hide my pregnancy once I started showing and if he asked me about it, I’ll lie to him telling him it is someone else’s baby.

The next day I made a doctor’s appointment to see how far along I was and luckily for me they had an opening the same day I called. I set it up and went back to work until my break which I was taking late to go to the appointment. Alex has been blowing up my phone day and night calling and texting, so I decided to send him an email stating not to bother me unless it was about his business. If it is about anything other than that I will quit on the spot and he will have to leave his honeymoon early to deal with his business. After that email he stopped calling and texting me, and I was glad for that I did not need the added stress.

My break came so fast I was nervous about going to this appointment, but I got the courage and went anyway. I was called back about 20 minutes after I arrived, and went I entered the room the nurse had me strip down and put a gown on. Then she came back in with a male doctor and he greeted me upon entry.

“Let’s see how far along shall we” he said

I left the office shocked at how far along I was and I knew by the time Alex came back I would be showing so I had to go shopping again. I returned to the office and seen the receptionist giving me dirty looks as I walked passed her she said “You just can’t take your break whenever you want, we have rules and a system here so get with it or get lost” I ignored her and kept walking to my office

I came back to a crap load of calls and had to return each and every call and by the time I was done the day was almost over. I relaxed until the work day was over and when it was, I went shopping for new clothes.

Two months later

Alexander POV

After I got that email from Zaria saying not to bother her unless it was about my business and if it was not, she was going to quit, I didn’t know what to do. I knew I didn’t want this marriage to work and was going to find a way to get out of it sooner than two years. I had sent Marcus back to keep an eye on Zaria for me while I was away. Zach stayed with me and helped find whoever Jennifer paid that night, and luckily for me he found someone. It was a female and her name was Courtney and she liked the guy Jennifer seduced on our wedding night, so we went to find this guy named Jeffery. To my surprise me and him looked similar to each other.

We sat down and talked with him and offered him money that he couldn’t refused especially since he was going through a hard time. He told us all of the details of what happened that night, he even said that he took pictures and even filmed it in case she went back on her word. A big smile grew on my face when he said that so I got all of the pictures and the video and had Zach make copies. I was definitely going to use this to my advantage later.

It was time to leave Skyton falls and I was so glad and eager to back to my business and see Zaria even though she only wants to talk business. Once we arrived and the plan landed and we got off I headed straight for my company. Everyone was so happy to see me, they all cheered, gave me an applause and congratulated me on my marriage. I thanked them all and headed for my office and upon entry Zaria was sitting there on the phone looking just as beautiful as the day I left more than two months ago. I went to my office and before I could enter, she said “I’ll be right in with your schedule once I’m through with this call, I shook my head and entered my office.

I blew out a sigh and sat down in my chair admiring how beautiful she is. When she stood up I noticed that she was wearing clothes that were kind of too big for her. She came into my office with a clipboard and some papers and handed it all to me and sat down.

“This is all of the information you need from the last two months while you were away. I received a lot of the bids back on a ton of inventory that is listed. I also got the numbers from your other companies, some of them did not meet their goal so I gave them until the end of the week to meet the goals. You have your first meeting tomorrow morning at 8am sharp with the board. I’ll have everything prepared for everyone come tomorrow” she said.

“Thank for you all of this information and for keeping my business running while I was away” I said.

She got up and returned to her office. About 10 minutes later she phoned me and said “Marcus and Zach are on their way to your office”.

“Okay thank you send them in when they get here” I said.

They arrived 15 minutes later and as they sat down, I told Zaria I was in a meeting and not to be bothered, then I locked and frosted the windows and doors.

“So, what information do you have for me Marcus” I said as they sat down

“Damn be patient Ill let you know everything she been doing. First off, she runs your business almost better than your CFO who has not been here really for the past two months. She has been going to and from work and back home. She has not been anywhere at all but to shop for food and she also has been to the doctor’s office at least four times in the last two months” he said.

“Why has she been to the hospital so many times in the last two months?” I said.

“I have no clue, why is she wearing clothes that is two sizes to big for her?” Marcus said.

Then it dawned on me could she be pregnant, that is the only logical reasoning for the hospital visits and the big clothes. So, I dismissed them and called Zaria into my office, and locked and frosted my windows.

“Yes, what’s up is there anything you need me to do” she said.

“Are you pregnant” I asked her getting right to the point.

“What are you talking about, and why would you think I’m pregnant” she said

“Stop playing dumb with me, those clothes are obviously too big for you” I said

“It’s not a crime to wear big clothes at all, stop assuming stuff” she said.

At that point I lost it I was done playing games with everyone. I got up and moved to her before she could sit down and pushed her up against the glass, then I lifted up her shirt to expose her growing pregnant belly.
