Zaria POV

I was really beat from the day I had. After I left the cafe departing from Alex I just walked and thought. I ended up at the bank of the water which was so beautiful with the sun setting. I didn’t know what to do and I didn’t have my parents to call and my foster parents were sh*t. They only fostered me for the money along with all the other kids as well. So when the opportunity to get away presented itself I took and never looked back. I sometimes thought about my foster brothers and sisters and get sad for them. I know that they are not being treated right but there is nothing my little self can do about it.

I sat and thought about if I should take the personal assistant position at Alex corporation. The good that could come from it along with the bad as well. I was lost in my thoughts for a very long time before looking at the clock and it was midnight. Tired as hell I stopped at the store to by a shell so I can go to sleep and not toss and turn. Once I got home I rolled up a fatty and sat and smoked by myself and did more thinking. In the end I figured I may just accept the position. I mean how bad could it be and I’ll be making more money, I just hoped I don’t have to cross paths with her.

I fell asleep on the couch after my session to my phone ringing. I answered it without looking at the caller I’d and to my surprise it was Alex. He said that he had a very long night and didn’t want to go home. He wanted to know if he could come and spend one last night with me before we went our separate ways for a while. I agreed to let him come over and he showed up 10 minutes later. He showed up with food and wine in hand which I smiled really big. I was hungry especially after that session by myself. I let him in and told him have a seat while I grabbed plates and glasses.

When I came back he had papers on my table. “Alex we already had this discussion” I said. Before I could get it all out he said “this isn’t for you to sign it’s for you to look over. I want you to understand that I really care for you”. I came to sit down with the plates and glasses. He made plates and poured the wine while I read over the papers he sat out. After I was done I said

“Did they all agree to this”. He said “not all of them but they will be on board especially Jennifer if she wants to help attain their business back. If she doesn’t then to hell with her we can finally be together”.

“What about that request that she asked of you not to long ago” I said. “Oh there is definitely not going to be that, I’m not giving in to that request at all. I was at first but then I discovered this” he said. He handed me an envelope so I opened it and saw pictures of his fiancé and two men in the act of having s*x.

“Wow is this recent” I said. “Yes, it was actually yesterday before I went to meet them at La Bella. I plan to expose her for this and make her sign the papers and forget that ridiculous request she made. She’s not getting her cake and eating it to especially after what I learned last night. Apparently she concocted this plan for me to get her pregnant if I didn’t agree to the marriage terms, that way they have a steady stream of income coming in. I also found out that they have been broke for almost 10 years now. My parents have been helping them ever since, but when they started to get greedy and asked for more my father couldn’t do it without me finding out about the missing money. So they all came up with the plan for us to get married” he said.

I took it all in before I responded, “Wow that’s crazy I can’t believe that they just planned your marriage and life out like that. I’m sorry you have to go through all of this. He looked me in my eyes before saying “I don’t have to go through this alone. I need you and your help to get me through this marriage”.

I pondered it for a while and said “let’s have this discussion while we eat I’m starving like Marvin”. We both cracked up at that statement and started eating.

I was the first to say anything. “I’ll accept the personal assistant position on one condition”. “Name it and it’s done, I’ll do whatever to make you happy” he said. I sighed heavily before I started talking “if I start working there as your assistant I don’t want to to be bothered or see your wife”.

“That’s easy and done. There is no need for her to come and see me at the office. She may contact me but I can set that up to where it rings straight to my office phone if she calls” he said.

I ate a few bits of food and sipped some wine before answering. “If you can ensure that we don’t cross paths then you got me as your assistant”. He was elated at the news he told me that I start tomorrow bright and early at 6am and gave me the address. He told me not to worry about my current job he can get someone else to take over. He knows the owner of The place on Grand Street.

We finished our food and the bottle of wine, afterwards I was full as hell and ready to blow one. I asked him if he wanted to partake with me and he agreed. We sat there smoked talked and enjoyed each other’s time until we fell asleep in each other’s arms.

Alexander POV

I awoke to a sleeping Zaria cuddled up in my chest! I looked at the time and it 430 in the morning. I gently got up and went to the bathroom. I seen my toothbrush was still here from last time. I freshened up then I went and put Zaria in bed. Before I left I set the timer for 5 and went home to shower and get dress for work.

Upon entering my house I was met with Jennifer who was surprisingly still awake. “Where have you been I have been calling you all night” she said. “I don’t have to answer to you at all. Did you sign the papers? I said. “That’s what I was calling you for. I wanted to know if we could put a clause in here stating that if we fall in love that we will be together” she said.

“Hell no we’re not putting a clause in there. We all signed the papers and are waiting for you. Once you sign we can this over and done with” I told her sternly and went to get ready. She came barging in the bathroom after I was in the shower yelling “well at least help us with the wedding” she said as she looked at my c*ock hungrily. “Get the hell out and no whatever you want it’s up to you now stop bothering me” I said. She left angry so I took that as my que to hurry up and leave.

I arrived at work right on time to see Zaria entering as well. “Zaria on time, I love for my employees to be punctual. You are already starting off great” I said . We got in the elevator and I took her to the 8th floor to get her picture taken for her ID card. After that we went to the top floor, and I introduced her to the receptionists Julia and Stacy and on the weekend Eden and Olivia. As we walked we passed by my CFO Henry which I introduced him as well. Then we made it to my her office, which doubled with mine. I got her aquatinted with what she had to do which was answer the phone and tell every one I was busy and to take a message.

I went into my office to deal with the day. I called Bob my tech guy to have all of Jennifer and her father Jake calls rerouted to my receptionist line. I then told my receptionist that is she ever calls I’m busy and not available. Now I had to get a list ready for Zaria so she can be successful while I was gone. She was going to be basically running my company for me while I was gone that part she didn’t know.

It was lunch time and I was hungry I went to Zaria and told her let’s have lunch. On our way out we stopped and got her I’d card. We went to Pierre’s which was a very famous and expensive restaurant with the top chefs. I wanted to get Zaria aquatinted with nice luxury things. Once we were seated the waiter came over and we orders drinks and I ordered appetizers. Once the waiter left I got down to business.

I’ll be in the office for the remainder of the week getting things ready for you while I’m gone. I’m going to be gone about a couple months. They all want to go to Skyton falls for us to get married and set up all the arrangements. While I’m gone handle business as I’m away. Nothing needs to be signed or anything while I’m away. Any of that I’m going to try to handle before I leave. Our drinks and appetizers came and we enjoyed lunch before going back to the office.

What a day it was and I’m glad that Zara is a quick study. She caught on easily and handled herself very professionally. I definitely needed her by my side if she ran my business adequately. It was the end of the day and I told everyone to go home. So I finished up what I needed to. Day one down successful I was elated. After I finished at the office I called my boys Marcus and Zach to go out to celebrate and tell them the good news.
