The Proposal

Sierra went out of their office building feeling sore all over. Her eyes had been shutting down since mid-morning because of lack of sleep. Even the cursing of the irate costumers didn’t help to wake her up.           She let out another big yawn and stretched her arms up and bend her body back making a crunchy sound.           Oh, that feels good! She’s been sitting for twelve f*****g hours straight! That witch of a boss of hers made her render four more overtime hours just to compensate for her being two hours late when she made her report to her office and ‘coached’ her for more than half of that time!           This is unjust! Freaking slave drivers! She couldn’t help but look up at the floor which their account occupies. She raised her middle finger to it as if that would lessen her stress. f**k you to hell! She huffed before she walked to the bus station.            People were staring at her as she mumbled to herself. Her stiletto made angry clicking sounds on the pavement as she stomped her way to the bus station. She must have looked awkward with her pretty face all cramped up like she’s looking for trouble while her big ass wrapped in a tight black skirt swayed sexily because of her four-inched heels.                 She felt vulnerable and she hated it. The feeling of not being able to have control over the situation she’s at, the feeling of not being in control messed her up big time. She didn’t know why she’s like that. Maybe it’s because she’s been living for three years without memory, or maybe she’s been like that all along. Who knows? All she knew is that she loves her family. She may not have any recollection of living with them prior to the last year they spent together before her father died from a car accident and her mom followed suit a year after, but they made her feel loved and she was contented. She didn’t bother looking back on her past. If she forgot about it, it must be because she had to.            She sat on the bench and waited for the bus to arrive. Her eyes roamed around. She could see the lights from the Eiffel Tower from afar. She had been so mesmerized by it ever since she woke up without her memory. Somehow it felt familiar. Like a part of her ached whenever she sees it. But she never went there. Maybe she’s afraid of what she’ll remember.            She sighed. What if she jumped from there because of a failed relationship? Nah, she wouldn’t survive the fall and wake up with just her memory gone for sure. Oh well, I've got a lot on my plate to even think about it. She snickered and looked around. She checked her watch, the bus was taking too long to arrive.            Sierra stood and tiptoed to try to see if the bus is coming soon. She huffed in frustration. She already felt hungry and sleepy that she could just collapse where she stood.            “I sure hope Lailane made something good for tonight’s dinner. I’m starving.” She heard her stomach grumble before she heard her phone ring.             She was about to pick up the call when a black car stopped in front of her. Two bulky men went out of the car and stood in front of her. They look as scary as the goons you see on the television.                    Maybe they just want to ask for direction, Sierra calmed herself with that thought.              “Miss Roman?”             Oh-oh, how did they know my name? She looked at them suspiciously but didn’t reply. Instead, she stepped back while her brows form a crease.             “Please come with us. The Boss wants to meet you.”             “Huh? You got the wrong person. Sorry.” She said before she turned and hurriedly walked away. She looked back and saw that the men went to follow her. She walked faster until she was running. But she couldn’t go far enough because of her heels. Her heart was rampaging inside her chest.            Why the f**k are they following me? She was busy looking back that she didn’t notice a missing block on the pavement and she tripped. f**k! You got to be f*****g kidding me! She cried as she pushed herself up. The men are still behind her walking briskly but not leaving their eyes on her.             What do they want from me?             Sierra was almost at the corner of the street. If she turns right, she’ll be running by the bridge and it’s out of her way home. She looked around. She could cross the pedestrian lane. There are more people on the other side since there’s a pub there maybe she can ask for help. But she won’t make it in time with her heels. There’s almost only ten seconds left before the lights turn green and it’s a wide freaking hi-way!            I don’t want to die in a car accident too!            She turned to the men. They’re still a few meters away. She took off her heels and prepared to bolt across the street but when she turned, she saw the black limo right in front of her.             The window lowered down and she saw the profile of a familiar man. He was now wearing a white coat and a matching white trilby hat. It’s him! The man in the lift from earlier! He turned his head towards her direction, his eyes were covered with black Louie Vuitton shades.            Man, this guy is loaded! It’s not just his shades but he’s inside a f*****g limo! Like no ordinary person uses limousines!            The driver went out and went to open the door for her. “Our boss would like to talk to you. There’s no reason to run Miss Roman. Please get in.” The old driver speaker in a soft voice and even bowed at her while their ‘Boss’ still looked at her behind his glasses.             “Why would I get in there? I don’t know you, people!”            She was still dumbstruck that she forgot about the two men following her. She was even startled when one spoke beside her. “Just get in.” They hooked her arms and shoved her inside, head first,  then pushed the door close. They didn’t get inside, instead, they just stood guarding the door.              “What the f**k?!” She lifted her head up and realized she was in an awkward position. She was bent on the floor in all fours and the man inside was feasting on her round ass that was in front of him. He even ran his tongue over his lower lips and gulped as if seeing a delectable sight in front of him!             “What the f**k are you looking at you pervert!” Sierra shouted at him to get his attention out of her behind as she pushed herself up to the seat across him.              He did look at her but the small smile playing on his lips made her more uncomfortable. His eyes boldly roamed from her face down to her slightly exposed chest and lower still to her exposed legs making Sierra feel warm.              ‘Warm? What warm? This pervert is eyeballing me!’ Aghast with her own thoughts she hissed at him as she pulled her skirt down and fixed her blouse.              “Did you force me here so you can stare at my body?”             “Well, I could do more than stare.” He said with a smirk that made Sierra want to punch his face.             “I didn’t mean that! Listen, Mister. I’m not whom you’re looking for. I don’t know you, I’m pretty sure I don’t owe you anything and I just want to go home and sleep. Whatever it is you want to say just say it quick! Stop perving at me!” She said as she averted her eyes at the door. f**k it’s locked!             “Easy, we can talk about it over dinner. Aren’t you starving? It’s already past dinner time.” He knocked on the window and his driver went inside the car. Sierra felt the engine come to life then the car drove away.              “Didn’t you hear what I said? If you have nothing to say, just let me out.” Where is this freak taking her? Did she just got kidnapped?!              “I do have something to talk to you about and I believe you wouldn’t be as excited to leave once you hear what I have to say.”             “Then just freaking say it already!”             “Quite impatient. Oh, well let’s not beat around the bush then. I have a proposal for you.”             Proposal? What kind of a proposal will a stranger offer a woman like her? f**k! Is it an indecent proposal?              “No way!” She exclaimed while shaking her head furiously.             “I haven’t said anything yet Sierra Lawrice.”             “No way! I’m not going to bed with you! There’s no f*****g way. I’m not a w***e— wait! How’d you know my name?” f**k! Is he following me? Did he get a background check on me? Is he a stalker?               She shivered at the thought then jumped to the corner of the seat trying to put more distance between them. This is why she had always believed this face is a curse! It always brings her to a shitty situation like this. She lost count of how many times she’s been offered indecent proposals, though if she’ll be honest, this man is far by the most good looking of them all. She might just consider...             ‘Clear up your mind Sierra!’ Says her wavering morality. You’re better than this! Don’t be lured to those sexy eyes and lips and broad chest and... she bit her inner cheeks. If he’s going to force himself at me I could do the grab and squeeze and kaboom! Bye-bye ballsies! Yes, I don’t think he can follow me. Last I saw him he’s in a wheelchair.               She was on alert. Ready in case this man suddenly launched at her. But to her surprise, he let out a hearty laugh.
