Ada gasped for air, unable to believe her ears--living in with her boss? How could she live with her boss?
For some seconds that seemed like forever, both Anon and Ada just looked at each other. One was solemn and peaceful and the other one was in sheer shock.
Ada moved her lips, but the words were stuck in her throat.
Then Anon whispered, "Allow me to do this for you, Ada. Aside from those who would like to harm you, my hidden enemies will consider you my weakness and use you against me. You are carrying our brand and those people who wished me dead or my business ditched in a swamp of bankruptcy can also come after you."
