Alice strolls into his office and Alexander smiles.
“What are you doing here?”
“Don’t you say hello to your girlfriend?”
“Oh, I didn’t know I had one.” He grins at her.
She is making it clear that she has laid claim on him. She is more calculated than he first thought.
“Well, I thought we would make it more official. I mean, we are going on our third date, aren’t we? And as you know, that is usually the date where a relationship is either consummated or broken.”
He steps up close to her, breathing in her perfume.
