Peach’s pov I excited woke up from sleep and went to the bathroom to get ready for my first time I school, I didn’t think about any negative thoughts not to ruin my mood or anything, I just thought about positive things so I will be more excited about going to school today. I let the warm water settle on my muscle, I took an extra time in the bathroom and went deep in bathing. I came out of the bathroom and I realize that I didn’t pick out an outfit before entering the bathroom. Reaching out to my closet, I brought out all the possible clothes there was in and I don’t seem to like anyone, I don’t think any looks flattering on me and I am starting to have a little bit of a panic attack and I am trying my possible best to keep calm, the knock on my room diverted whatever negative thought I was about to enter. “Come in!” I yelled out so whoever is behind the door can come in, the door came in and trust me I wasn’t expecting my mom to be the one to come in, it is normally my father who comes in when I get excited about something i really love. “You don’t seem to be happy to see me” my mom says with a faint smile “I am here to drop this” she added as she hands me an outfit. I collected it and opened it to see my new uniform, I was amazed with how beautiful it is. “Wow! I love this so much” I say with so much excitement in my tone. “I think you should try it on” my mom suggested and I wasted no time in putting on the outfit so fast, the smile on my face immediately faded away when the uniform didn’t really flattering on me, it was too tight and my body fupa was visible and it is making me feel uncomfortable. “I don’t like it” I say with a hint of sadness laced in my tone “it is too tight and not flattering on me” I added in the verge of crying. “Don’t you dare cry peach, the uniform is a good fit on you” my mom says with a hint of annoyance laced in her tone “you wanted to go to school so don’t you dare act bitchy about this” she added with annoyance laced in her tone, I really wish my dad was here, he would have made me feel better. “I am sorry mom, I won’t complain because I wanted this” I say with a faint smile. “That’s more like it, you should get ready, your dad will take you to school” she says with a serious tone “One more thing, make sure you are around Amon all the time and do not leave his side” she added before walking away. I am not in anyway interested in Amon, I just want to make sure that I don’t let anyone bully me this time no matter what happens and I will focus on what I really want. "Here, I want you to have this for lunch; I made it for you," my dad says, handing me a carefully packed lunch box. Gratitude fills me as I realize how fortunate I am to have the best dad in the world. "Thank you so much, Dad," I express with a genuine smile. "You're welcome, my love. You should go in now so you don't get late for your first day," he advises. I step out of the car, exchanging goodbyes with my dad as he drives off. Taking a deep breath, I stand outside the school, the memories of my previous encounter still vivid in my mind, hoping for a better experience this time. Walking down the hallway, attempting to locate the principal's office, the stares from fellow students intensify. Clutching my bag tightly, I navigate through the sea of judgmental eyes, memories of my sixteenth birthday flashing before me. "Calm down, tiger," a voice reassures me, breaking my train of thought. In my haste, I accidentally knock into someone, causing their books to scatter. Fear creeps into my tone as I apologize, swiftly joining them to pick up the fallen books. Our heads collide, an unexpected moment of shared discomfort. "Ouch!" he exclaims, our eyes meeting. I find myself staring at a handsome guy with big blue eyes, visible dimples, a beautiful smile, and a lean, fit body. Flustered, I snap back to reality. "This... shouldn't have happened, and I apologize," I stammer, realizing that my first day at school is already marked by chaos. "Be more careful next time," he advises with a wink before walking away, leaving my heart fluttering. Hastening my steps, I head to the principal's office to submit my files, eager to escape the prying eyes. Standing outside the office, I knock and am immediately beckoned inside. The principal's shocked tone resonates, "Wait... O'Riley, you really came back here and in uniform." Her surprise brings a sense of satisfaction, knowing what she had said about me. "I came here to drop my files," I assert calmly, placing them on her desk. "If that will be all for now, can I leave?" I ask with a straight face, subtly attempting to assert my presence. The encounter unfolds as a subtle triumph over past judgments. “Leave my office; they allow everyone now to come here. I need a new job,” the principal says, a trace of annoyance evident in her tone. I exit her office with a sense of satisfaction reflected in my facial expression. “Peach!” a voice exclaims from behind. I turn to see Asher, causing my eyes to widen in shock. My heart starts to race even faster as he comes closer to me. The proximity may suggest he remembers me, or perhaps it's because I am soon to be his sister-in-law. "Why are you here?" he asks with annoyance laced in his tone.
