I had gone to one more pack in the last month, Blue Moon, but still was alone. I had finally had enough of this and needed to release my stress of not finding my mate. Watching Carson be happy with Lucia made me jealous and needy to have my own mate with me.
I decided that it was time for another trip to Austin. I booked my hotel room and packed my overnight bag. I sat down in the Beta office with Carson to tell him that he was in charge of the pack for the night. He had caught on quickly to the Beta job and took over a few days after arriving.
