Darsh read the file about joe . He wasnt really happy about their closeness . Mahika was really happy . But it didnt last long , the engagement wasnt cancelled .

It was the engagement night , mahika was feeling angry and sad .she got ready when joe said to her "cupcake dont worry . Its just engagement . We need to see his reaction to us and then we will plan further " mahika agreed and decided to get ready .

She wore a beautiful baby blue dress with silverish white embroidery . Her hairs were curled a light makeup was done .

Darsh also wore white . He was looking really handsome . A constant smile was playing on his lips .

Mahika placed her hand in his reluctantly , darsh gave it a squeeze and slipped the ring in her finger . It was a beautiful ring , with a big diamond in the middle and smaller diamonds surrounding it . Mahika glared at him when he unnecessarily placed a kiss on her hand . The engagement ceremony went well .

Joe was on mahika's side through the whole ceremony . They were laughing and enjoying themself .

" can i burrow my fiancee back .i need to introduce her to some people " darsh said .

"Yes of course ,yuvraj ." joe said while removing his hand from around mahika .

Darsh pulled mahika near him and wrapped his arm around her waist . It could be seen from his face that he wasnt really happy .

"Princess , you are looking gorgeous " darsh said after sometime .

" first thing , dont call me princess.i have a perfect name . And secondly ,for your information , i look even better with joe ." Mahika said the last line with a smirk . Darsh just glared and decided to avoid her talks .

Darsh met people along side her . Mahika ate with joe . Darsh was talking to a bussiness associate when tanya approached him .

" so how is it going ? Are you enjoying seeing your fiancee in someone else's arm , talking and laughing together . " tanya said smirking . " at least i wont have insulted you like that " she said moved away .

Darsh didnt say anything to her . Mahika was really insulting him by doing all that " princess do , what you will be able to pay for " darsh mumbled to himself .

Mahika was standing in the garden alone , when darsh joined her . Mahika was remembering their first meeting . She quite liked him on their first meeting , but then the whole marriage thing came up.

Darsh stood behind her . It was cold . Mahika had her arms wrapped around herself .darsh noticed that she was feeling cold . He rubbed his hands on her arms .

Mahika let him .she was already tired of playing games and it was also feeling great .

Darsh placed a kiss on top of her head " we dont need to fight on each point .you can accept it and we can moved forward together , princess"

Mahika turned around and glared at him "i am not here for bargain " she said and then stomped her heel on his foot "and thats for placing your lips on me " after that she went inside .

"Ow " darsh winced but kept standing straight ."why am i tolerating her denial? Why am i being so lenient with her?" Darsh questioned himself angrily .
