After the bath, Henry helped me dress in a light blue nightgown and placed me back in bed. He called for the servants to prepare us a meal. I was so hungry, and I couldn't remember the last time I ate. I could tell I had lost weight since I had been asleep. I knew this wasn't good for the child growing inside of my womb. I needed to start eating more, so we were both healthy. We waited for the maids to return, and Henry went to his desk. He was working. Henry and I both had duties we needed to perform for his Kingdom. Mine right now was growing his child. Having his heir was my most important duty as his mate and future Queen.
Once the first child was born, I would need to have others. I was sure that Henry wanted more children. He needed to grow and strengthen his family line.
