Pheyus loved the deep, throaty voices of the Gray Whales. Their calls glided along the thermocline, once again changing the course of the Tursiops group. Pheyus and Shayla stayed with their hosts as they followed the sounds toward a small pod of Grays. Grays were always fun to swim with. They were so slow and graceful, despite their incredible size. Pheyus knew larger animals existed in the sea, but he personally had never seen anything close. There were three of them: an infant with its mother, flanked by a bull escort.
